A Bit About ..

As a Voice Artist I have a professional background working studios in for more than 35 years.

My voice is particularly suited to eLearning, health and medical scripts as well as documentaries, explainers and narration. For more than 20 years I was the Voice of RNIB’s Connect and Vision audio magazines.

A Home Studio is essential of course for any voice artist, and mine is particularly high standard and maintained by my engineer partner. I’m a regular voice for eLearning for You (now part of the Access Group) and for BMT Group development courses.

My voice has been heard in several films as computers, newsreaders, radio presenters and even some deep voiced but off hinged witches.

As for explainer videos,  the health and charity sectors often seek me out for my clarity and calming tone, as well as urgency for campaigning videos.

As well as being a voice artist, I am also a trained BBC Radio studio operator. I was lucky enough to have worked as a Studio Manager (specialising in Drama and magazine programming ) before moving on to be a presenter/producer

My work at the BBC is another story!
